Winchester Model 12 Skeet grade 12 ga. pump action shotgun with highly desirable 26" solid matted rib barrel and WS-1 choke.
S/N 1229555 made in 1949.
This fine shotgun represents the perfect collectible shooter; that being a completely untouched original with all the right stuff, relatively affordable for the grade and features, and not so pristine that you'd be afraid to take it out and enjoy it as it was intended to be.
It is a solid piece in very good overall condition throughout, averaging between 90-95% original finishes over most, but showing more wear at the balance point along with some typical reassembly marks at the take down union.
The impressive checkered wood set has a very attractive grain pattern to it with numerous light handling marks and a full 14" LOP.
As mentioned, it has a 26" Solid Rib barrel with correct Bradley red bead front sight and silver mid bead. WS-1 choke with 2 3/4" chamber.
Mirror bore and flawless mechanical functions.
