This J.C. Higgins .22 caliber single shot rifle. This rifle was made for Sears Roebuck & Co. by the Marlin firearms Co. and is nearly identical to their Model 100. The single shot bolt action with manual cocking, makes it an ideal training rifle. Many of us had one of these as our first firearm, and I'm sure the nostalgia for this gun is pretty high. The bluing is in pretty good shape, and the wood finish is decent with some of the glossy finish missing. There are some handling marks, but no deep dents scratches or gouges. This would be a great gun for small game hunting or a nice add to your collections. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
