Description:
Very nice example of a Winchester Model 1895 chambered for 30/40 Krag. This particular rifle is dated to 1905. Fitted with a 28" barrel, the bore is quite good for its age and still shows some shine in it and has strong rifling. The wood shows only minor dings and dents and is solid throughout. The metal is also quite good but shows some minor blemishes typical of a 120 year old rifle. The action is very smooth. Serial number 52793
