Description:
Serial #39958, .22 LR, 19.5 inch barrel with a very fine, bright bore with strong rifling and some very light roughness. This is the Remington Model 24 take down semi-automatic rifle with tube magazine in the stock and bottom ejection manufactured in 1926. The barrel and receiver shows a thinning mottled blue / gray that is a mixture of later added and original finish. The stock and forearm rate excellent as refinished with a heavy gloss varnish. The take-down function works correctly and locks up properly. Mechanically it functions properly and is sighted with the original sights. This is a great looking Remington 24 that would be fun to shoot. FFL or C&R
