I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Single Action Smith & Wesson 2nd Model. FFL is not required. It’s chambered in 38 S&W centerfire, 5 round Revolver. It was introduced from 1877 to 1891, a total production of 108,255. Clean 5 shots chambers, with a 3.-1/4" barrel with a clean bore with good sharp rifling lightly pitted. Old professional re-nickel finish rates 95% with some very small clusters of pin prick erosion, as you can see on the pictures. The original checkered dark brown rubber grips are good the left one is chipped on the bottom, the serial number: "87662" is engraved on the butt and all matching with the cylinder. mechanically good, single action works very well, excellent timing. Well designed & built, very collectible. Reliable single action revolver was associated with the Old West Conquest, being the ultimade self defense if didn't want carry an heavy 44. or 45. caliber. The action is smooth & firmly crisp. What is not mentioned in the description can be seen on the pictures. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge.
