Description:
This is an incredible 1966 Smith & Wesson no dash model 57 with a 6" barrel (5.75) and chambered in the highly collectable 41 magnum cartridge. It's in fantastic condition and has that gorgeous deep bluing. I had to look it over for quite some time before I could find any signs of use. A TINY nick on the barrel and a ghost mark on the very bottom of the trigger guard. Easy 99% condition or higher. Fantastic mechanics with perfect timing and dead tight lockup along with zero cylinder end shake. It wears a set of period correct flush escutcheons smooth targets that are beautiful. They do have a small hairline imperfection at the top of the right grip. ZERO rust or pitting of any kind and the frame is perfect under the grips. The cylinder ratchet teeth look brand new. Virtually no flame cutting. perfect bore with sharp rifling. This revolver has had an easy life! Sorry, no box or docs. I do have a non original presentation case that could be negotiated.
