Description: The Model 1890 proved to be one of the most successful repeating rimfire rifle for general all-around shooting ever made by Winchester. Approximately 849,000 Model 1890 rifles were produced between 1890 and 1932, after which the Model 1890 was replaced by the Winchester Model 62 rifle. The serial number (626044) on this Model 1890 puts manufactured date in 1919. This rifle looks to be in original condition with matching serial numbers on the receiver and the stock. The barrel crown does have pitting and rusting as shown in the images above. Stocks buttplate has pin sized pitting and lite rust. This firearm is being offered by the Boise Cabela's Gun Library.
