Description:
Colt Model 1860 .44 Bullet Mold. It is the typical "straight-legged" blued iron, dual-cavity .44 caliber mold, which casts one conical and one round ball. The right side has the usual Colt caliber markings, 44H near the hinge. The original sprue cutter is in place on the top of the mold and is lightly marked in two lines: COLT’S / PATENT. Condition is very good as refinished, has heavy signs of use, light oxidation and pitting. The cavities are in excellent condition. A well used but taken care of example. This example is not military marked. ;
