Description:
Listed is a Smoothbore Remington Model 510 Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle for .22 LR Shot Cartridges in excellent plus condition.
The metal has about 97% blue with just some minor scratches at the end of the muzzle, right side (see photo). The wood has its original finish but it has a few very minor bruises in the finish as shown in the pictures.
The rusted Phillips head type butt plate screws have been replaced with slotted screws but the originals will be included with the gun when shipped. The gun weighs 5 pounds and 3 ounces.
It has a perfect smoothbore. Date code on left side of barrel is “B E” which I believe is January of 1958, near the end of production of this model. The “31” mark is, I believe, an inspector’s mark.
