Description:
Winchester Model 12 SN# 1544036. The receiver and barrel extension date to 1956. Up for sale is a like new and somewhat unusual Winchester Model 12. This fine shotgun is part of a group of guns I purchased in the late 70s. These guns were special ordered by an employee of Wincheste in the early 60s. As there is a time space from the 1956 serial number stamp and until these guns were put together, I assume that this receiver was part of the inventory of the custom shop. The gun remains unfired. The action has been cycled and the gun has been taken down to apply grease in the bolt and interior of the receiver. The barrel is 26" and choked imp-cy. Length od pull is 14" to the Winchester buttplate. I hope the pictures can display the excellent figure of both the stock and the forearm.
