Superb 100% original 1930 ColtSAA Nickel .45 Colt 51/2 barrel with letter. The revolver was shipped to Port Arthur Texas in 1930 as a 1 gun shipment The Colt is in as new condition which is remarkable for a near 100 year old pistol. It has absolutely beautiful original Colt ivory grips. The letter doesn't mention the grips but the serial number indicates a 1928 gun yet this one didn't ship until 1930 indicating the making of the grips there also marked inside with the last 3 digits of the serial number. The gun appears unfired other than factory test fired. There is no nickel loss anywhere.Rare to see a nickel gun in this serial range certainly a special order gun. Exceptional nice First generation shipped to Texas worthy of any collection. I'm terminally ill and selling my one of a kind collection in the next week . All reasonable offers considered.
