Description:
Colt First Generation Single Action Army revolver chambered in .45 Colt. Rare variant fitted with a double action long flute cylinder of which Colt only assembled 1,478 total between 1913 and 1915. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, and butt. Includes a factory letter confirming configuration and shipment to George Worthington Hardware Company in Cleveland, Ohio on 21 October 1914. Barrel appears to be slightly bulged ahead of the ejector housing. .45 Colt
