This Springfield Armory Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand (CMP) is a right hand semi-auto rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Serial Number 3078391 (1944). Barrel is stamped S-A-2-46. CMP is stamped on the left side stock above the trigger. .30-06 Springfield
