A full package deal
This is truly a beautiful Remington XP-100 bolt action single shot pistol, chambered in the incredibly accurate and uncommon 6 x 47mm cartridge. This is a custom one-piece walnut stock with beautiful maple foretip and bottom grip cap, finished in a satin finish. I tried to take pictures of the of every inch of this gun, including the stock, please examine closely and if you need any other pictures, please ask.
The 4 digit serial number on the frame indicates this is an early pistol. The chambering of 6 x 47mm is not a known factory cartridge, however the 222 Remington was a factory chambering and works for the 6 x47mm cartridge but the barrel is custom and is stamped for the cartridge. The barrel is ported with two slots at the muzzle and is approx. 11 ¼ “ in length. The pistol is 18 ¼” long end to end. The one piece scope base is a EGW specifically made for the XP-100. The scope is a Burris fixed 10x power with adjustable distance. The scope is clear and the crosshairs are crisp.
The mechanics appear in perfect condition based on visual inspection and the bolt functions very smoothly and locks in tight. The manual safety functions properly. The trigger is absolutely awesome. The pistol is immaculately cleaned and the bore is sharp and bright. The beauty of this gun is only surpassed by its performance. The original 6x47mm cartridge was known for its accuracy. Later, other “improved” versions of this cartridge were developed but as it turned out, did not improve the accuracy.

A two-die set of very clean Hornady 6x47mm Remington dies, as pictured, is included.

A full box of 100 hand-loaded live rounds in the green MTM box pictured. The load recipe is written on the label on the inside box top. All cases are Nosler head-stamped and started out as 222 Rem Mag cases, then re-sized (necked-up) to the 6 x 47mm. These are new cases, never fired. If you have questions about the load or recipe, please ask. There is good information on-line about the 6 x 47mm cartridge and about the other “6x47 Lapua” and 6/6.5 x 47 cartridges out there. This is NOT those. It is the old, original 6 x 47mm Remington. IF you purchase this pistol and IF you want these live cartridges, you can request them and I will ship them to you separately from the pistol and there will be NO extra charge, not even the shipping. That’s the Bonus part! Again, note that these cartridges are NOT being sold. They are being given to you and shipped to you with the purchase of the amazing XP-100 pistol.
