Description: Standard configuration military Luger made by Mauser in 1925 with G-date chamber code and S/42 toggle. Usual 4-inch barrel with drift adjustable front sights, and v-notch rear sight. Full serial number with letter suffix on forward frame, with SN repeated under barrel and on left side of barrel extension. Military proofs on right side of barrel extension. Last 2 digits on all of the usual small parts, except for unmarked grips. Original magazine with full serial number/'+' reflecting its use as a spare magazine. Major components rust blued; small parts strawed except for the fire blued toggle pins and grip screws. Condition: Near excellent original finish, excepting touchup/partial restoration of the frame. Excellent straw parts showing no enhancement. Grip screws with enhanced fire blue. Very bright bore with minimal etching and sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
