Description:
This is an outstanding condition Winchester US Model 1917 bayonet in a Graton & Knight metal and leather scabbard. In excellent plus condition the 21 ¾ inch overall length bayonet has a 17 inch unsharpened blade retaining nearly all of the original gray finish with blued hilt, guard and ricasso. It is marked "1917" / (winchester "W" in cirle) on the reverse and has the eagle flaming bomb over "U.S." on the obverse. The wood grips rate excellent. It comes in a second style G&K marked Model 1917 leather and steel scabbard which remains in exceptional condition showing on light handling marks. A superb example of these Winchester Model 1917 bayonets ready to pair with your rifle or combat shotgun.
