WINCHESTER MODEL 70 FEATHERWEIGHT PRE-40 270 WINCHESTER 24" BARREL CIRCA 1963 CUSTOMIZED WITH A HIGHER GRADE WALNUT SHADOWLINE CHEEK PIECE STOCK WITH ENGRAVED GRIP CAP AND THE REMOVAL OF THE FRONT AND REAR SIGHT FOR INSTALLATION OF THE LEUPOLD VARI-X II 2-7X40 SCOPE PER THE FORMER OWN THE WORK WAS DONE BY FAMED MASTER GUNSMITH PAUL JAEGER. THE OVERALL CONDITON IS EXCELLENT WITH THE ORIGINAL FINISH AND SOME MINOR HANDLING MARKS. MECHANICALLY EXCELLENT AND THE OPTIC CLEAR AND CRISP.
