"Serial No. 2238965, made December 1943, .30-06, 24" round barrel marked “2-S-A—11-43". Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Rifle is correctly marked from Springfield Armory when it left in late 1943. Stock is very good with “SA/GAW" inside box with Ordnance escutcheon visible on the left side. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
