Description:
Winchester Model 12. SN# 1735724. Receiver and barrel extension number dates to 1959. Up for sale is a very clean Winchester Model 12 police riot gun chambered for the 12 gauge 2 3/4" cartridges. The history of this shotgun starts with the building at the factory followed by the purchase in late 1960 by the county law enforcement in my region. The gun was stored in the law armory until early 1962 when it was issued to the county sheriff. In 1965 the shotgun was transferred to the police dept. and was carried in a squad car from time to time. Sometime in 1969 the gun was taken out of the police service register and was put into armory storage. The gun has been very well cared for with some light oil rubbed from time to time and remains in excellent condition. All factory original blued metal parts and excellent wood grain help to showoff this as a great collector's shotgun. Freight and insurance 50.00
