Barrel Length: Approximately 24 Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings. The windage knob is marked “LEFT arrow” twice.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nose caps, stacking loop, two sling loops and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage in the butt. The buttplate shows scratches, and discoloration. The covers show numerous scrapes, scratches, and compression marks. First cover has a “50” stamped just in front of the action.
Most of these marks have been oiled over. The grip stock has been lightly sanded smoothing out but a few moderate handling marks. The cartouche on the left side of the stock is showing 3 stars and eagle in box. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Good overall condition.
The interior of the grip is marked with a Circle “P”
Bore Condition: The grooves are grey and the rifling is deep. There is fouling and intermittent erosion in the grooves and at the muzzle.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 80% -90% of its metal finish. The top rear of the receiver has some pinprick surface erosion showing through the (rebuild) finish.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
