For your consideration is this incredible piece of history. This rifle was manufactured in 1890. Yes there is wear on this firearm. Patina or surface rust/oxidation. However, it is in excellent condition for its age, and to hold a firearm that has the history of the Winchester 1873 Antique is amazing. The pictures hopefully show that the marks on this are not unsightly but enhance the look and feel of this gun. .38-40 Winchester
