"Serial No. 301306, made in 1901, .30-40 Krag, 30" round barrel. Bore is good with scattered frosting noted in the grooves, rifling remains strong. 95% re-blued finish remains on metal parts. Stock has been cut down just forward of the barrel band, handsome cartouche remains visible. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
