Description:
This is a very nice custom rifle made by Larry Dalrymple of Fairbanks AK, and is chamber in 7mm-08. Based on the original small ring, intermediate mauser action with a jeweled bolt body, a modified bolt shroud with 2 position wing safety and modern tinney trigger. Holds 3 rounds down and has a blind magazine. The action is fitted with handmade two piece redfield style bases, and it also has a 21" contoured barrel. All metal is rust blued. This rifle is expertly stocked in an exhibition piece of walnut calafornian english walnut with a 13 5/8" LOP over a niedner style steel buttplate, skeleton grip cap and ebony forend tip. Fine 24 LPI wrap checkering on the forend and wrist. The rifle has two traditional stud sling swivels. the rifle remains in excellent condition with no cosmetic flaws. The bore is perfect and cartridges feed from the magazine flawlessly. The rifle weights 6 pounds 13 oz, made of a desirable small ring mauser action and expertly stocked on an exceptional piece of walnut. hard to believe a rifle this nice would not be signed by the maker. A rifle of this quality would be 4 to 5 times the cost of any other maker.
