RARE, MINTY CONDITION END OF PRODUCTION MODEL 63 WITH GROOVED RECEIVER, 161XXX, MADE 1957. Only thre last few years of production had the grooved receiver top for scope mounting and by this time production was limited. The great Model 63 was discontinued in 1958. This example was made during the last full year of production in 1957. Inside and out, it appears to be unused and near new. It retains all the blue, even on the butt plate and on the forend cap. Original sights and aside from a few of the most minor of handling marks in the stock that you have to look carefully to see, it is new. Considered the classiest semi-auto .22 LR Winchester ever produced and some would say that includes all other makers too! This one is a gem and rare with grooved receiver.
