"NSN, circa 1880-1883, .45-70, 24" round barrel. Bore is bright with light oxidation visible in the grooves rifling remains strong. Metal has turned to a brown patina with traces of blue visible in protected areas.Stock has had a layer of varnish applied with wood repair noted on the left side and wrist. Front sight is missing. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
