Description:
This is a custom single shot falling block that utilizes the famed Hagn action that was designed by Munich-born Martin Hagn. These are regarded as the premier falling block action in the world and used in high grade rifles such as those made by the famed Hartmann & Weiss of Germany. Falling block rifles are characterized by simple handling, light weigh and a short design and are a particularly suitable for hunting is difficult terrain where a compact rifle becomes essential. Falling block rifles with Hagn actions are characterized by their clear-cut design, simplicity of handling, perfect function of all components and a precise single stage trigger. This gun is chambered in the very desirable 22-250 caliber and has a AAA fancy walnut stock with an ebony forend. The action and falling block lever are engraved with a tight scroll pattern and fully case color hardened. The finish is Matte blue and color case hardening. The premium grade barrel is 26” long. The unique roll over safety at the top of the action is synonymous with the Hagn action and a feature that lets the shooter simply give a slight thumb movement to engage and disengage. This gun is equipped with a 10X40 Hertel & Reuss German made scope that is equipped with a set of Warne quick release scope rings. The Hertel & Reuss scope covers are also included. These allow visual use while being installed but keep the moisture out. The gun, while having been built some 40 plus years ago, remains in new condition. This is a deluxe rifle for the sportsman who will only accept the best. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. I ship rifles in a hard rifle case to your dealer for the actual cost of the case and shipping. This gun requires an FFL license for transfer.
