Description:
VERY HIGH CONDITON, PRE-WAR MODEL 64 DELUXE RIFLE, .30WCF, #1097XXX, MADE 1935. This is a really excellent example made right in the middle of the Great Depression when sales were very limited. Retains about all the blue on the receiver, barrel, forend cap, upper tang etc. with only blue wear to the bottom of the lever/trigger guard and portion that fits into the bottom of the receiver. Exc. stock and forearm with exc. checkering, corrrect pistol grip cap and checkered steel butt plate. The walnut in the butt stock is of a higher grade than standard. The receiver fitted with a correct all steel Redfield receiver sight along with the original buckhorn rear barrel sight with elevator bar and hooded front sight. Even has the excellent blued super grade swivels. Tight action, exc. bright bore. Would be hard to improve upon this 90 year old Deluxe 64!
