Antique 1882 Colt Frontier Six Shooter 44–40 WCF SAA revolver with an etched panel along with Colt Letter. Manufactured in 1882 in Hartford, Connecticut. Colt Letter shows this Revolver produced with nickel finish and a 7 1/2 inch barrel. It was shipped to Hartley and Graham of New York City. Overall condition is very good. There still remains some traces of original nickel finish with a gray patina throughout. The action remains strong and holds all three notches and has all four clicks. Cylinder indexes well but occasionally off by a small amount. Walnut grips are in great shape and smooth. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The numbers match on the barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger guard and grip frame. A very nicely preserved and archived lettered Colt Frontier Six Shooter for your collection!
