Description:
Serial #J317171, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1976-made, "no dash" revolver that has virtually all of the original blue remaining on the frame, barrel, and cylinder, a barely discernible turn-ring on the cylinder, and a commensurate amount of original color case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. The checkered S&W medallion grips are likewise in excellent shape with practically no handling marks or wear on either side. The lock-up is tight and the revolver is housed in its original, numbered two-piece blue, Bangor Punta box with instruction sheet, warranty card, and cleaning rod with bore brush. This is a fantastic Model 36 Chief’s Special, and is in excellent, little-used condition. FFL;
