Standard configuration and matching 1896/11 rifle, caliber 7.5x55, with barrel length 30.7''/overall length 51.2''/6-shot detachable magazine, made 1912 to 1920, total production estimated at 135,000, according to swisswaffen this example made 1910, deacccessioned in 1963, with tangent rear sight graduated 3-20, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, and metal buttplate. The left side of receiver is marked 341676, the same number repeated on the barrel, bolt, and bottom of the magazine. Walnut stock, military accepted. Metal buttplate.
