Standard configuration Astra 600 in 9mmP with fixed front and notched rear sight. This example with the large Chilean Air Force logo on the left side of the slide, the rear portion marked with the usual four line address. Eibar proofing on left tang reflecting production in 1944 with automatic pistol proof repeated on left side of slide and exposed barrel hood. Fitted with factory walnut checkered grips. Bottom magazine release. Correct Astra magazine with ASTRA E/U marked tab. 20X RARER THAN THE MORE FREQUENTLY SOUGHT OUT WWII GERMAN NA*I CONTRACT!
Synopsis:
Incredibly scarce Astra 600, made for the Chilean Air Force, contract for only 450 pistols in serial range 43601-44050.
Condition:
VG-EXC. Bright original rust blue with sharp edge wear as one might expect from a lightly-moderately carried pistol. Usual small parts polished and in-the-white. Comparable condition grips. VG magazine with uniform fading on walls. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
