U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. 1953 receiver manufacture date. "O-65" (1965) electro-stenciled behind the rear sight base suggesting it is a U.S. Marine Corps "Secretary of the Navy" Trophy Rifle. Springfield barrel dated "8-53" along with Springfield bolt and operating rod. Birch replacement stock with "966" (serial number) written in grease pencil. Comes with a single 8-round en bloc clip and no other accessories. .30-06 Springfield
