Description:
The Garand has been described as the best battlefield rifle ever made, and it could (and has been... hotly) been debated at length. There is no doubt that at the time, it was one of the premier rifles on the battlefield. This CMP rifle is in good condition, with most of the wear being on the gas tube, and on the stock. It was manufactured in 1955 and has a Springfield bbl dated 1945. The stock has a number of digs and scratches and shows no cartouches. It will make a great shooter, or demo rifle for a re-enactor. .30-06 Springfield
