Description:

This very scarce K31, numbered as a commercial firearm as reflected by the “P” serial number prefix, was one of just 500 pieces made to commemorate 50 years of production, from 1931-1981. Standard configuration straight pull carbine with 1-15 rear sight, matching barrel and magazine. Chamber embellished with gold inlaid “183” along with Swiss Cross in Shield over chamber surmounting “Jubilaums –Karabiner”. Special gold plaque inset into the right side of buttstock referencing 50th year commemorative as made by Waffenfabrik Bern, adjacent military inspection marking. Blued steel and brass muzzle cap with Swiss Cross. Import mark under stacking rod. Complete with factory braided sling and a factory 300 meter test target dated 30 June 1984.

Condition:

Rifle is near new, still with patches of congealed factory grease. Rare small handling mark on the stock as photographed. Crisp matching numbered factory test target. A fantastic, super impressive K31, that could only be upgraded with a NIB example.
