Desirable and All Matching Astra 300 German WWII Military Pistol, Cal. 7.65mm, Delivered February 1944
Description:
Very attractive, original condition Astra M300 as shipped to the German military during WWII. This pistol was delivered to the German Armed Forces, then based in southern France on 24 February, 1944. Classic features include forward slide with Astra U/C logo with two line address at rear. Triad of Eibar proofs on left tang with Ñ reflecting production in 1944. Early automatic pistol proof repeated on left side of slide and exposed barrel hood that is also marked with the caliber. Full serial number on slide, frame, and matching barrel. Correct magazine with E/U logo on floorplate.
Condition:
VG original rust blue finish with light holster wear in expected places as carefully imaged. Comparable condition small parts and grips. Domes of grip screws faded. G magazine with spotted oxidation. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A very attractive and all matching example of the Astra 300 delivered to the German Army in late WWII.
