The ramped, match grade steel 3' bushingless bull barrel is fitted directly to the stainless steel slide to aid concealability while still delivering Kimber accuracy. The Ultra CDP II's lightweight 7075-T7 aluminum frame provides a compact, short grip platform for easy concealment and a finished product that weighs just 25 oz. Self-lubricating KimPro II™ premium finish on the frame resists moisture and salt. Carry Melt™ treatment on the slide rounds and blends edges so they do not snag clothing or holsters. Elegant double diamond rosewood grips work with 30 lines-per-inch checkering on the front strap and under the trigger guard for a sure grip, even when hands are wet or cold.
