Saturday October 11th, 1pm - 5pm Looking to improve your technique? This fun and instructional 4 hour class is for driven bird shooters who want to advance to a higher performance level. We can make your next shoot more successful with tailored instruction from Kevin Sterk. We will begin in the classroom with a refresher on the fundamentals of driven bird shooting, followed by an eye dominance assessment and checking your gun fit to ensure you have the proper dimensions for this shooting discipline. Moving to the flurry field, we’ll go through the importance of footwork, balance points, managing bird presentations, as well as creating your form so you can successfully manage any flight pattern. Finally, you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned to driven flurries, and practice your timing, footwork, and newly learned techniques. The session concludes with a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and enjoy drinks and appetizers with fellow shooters. Itinerary: 1pm – Registration at Shooting Academy, followed by Classroom session 2pm – Shooting at driven bird flurries 4.30pm – Return to Shooting Academy for Q&A, drinks and hors d'oeuvres $575 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax). All cartridges, clays, drinks and appetizers are included. Dress code: no t-shirts, blue jeans or open-toed shoes please. Cancellation Policy: Must contact us to cancel 10 days prior to class to receive full refund, or 72 hours prior to class to receive a 50% refund (minus credit card processing fees and applicable NJ sales tax). Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class date cannot be refunded.
