English produced by Brander & Potts Flintlock Blunderbuss pistol with 28 Ga, bore and 1 3/4" flared muzzle. Profusely carved iron breech with English Rose & Foliate and African stands of arms. Ornate carved oil finished walnut stock with wire inlays and checkered German silver escutcheons and trigger guard . Waterproof Flint lock marked "BRANDER & POTTS MINORIES LONDON" with with game scene of Fowl at rear tang. Condition, The metal remains bright with crisp carvings and markings. The elaborate stock has some period of use impressions and a small crack forward of lock plate. Mechanically fine.
