Description:
This .58 caliber Armi Sport 1861 Springfield reproduction percussion rifle has a 40" barrel with a 1 in 48" twist. Features a one-piece American walnut oil finished stock, bright steel finish, military style sights, steel buttplate, trigger guard and barrel bands and a tulip head ramrod like the original. The lock is marked "1861 Springfield" and is emblazoned with an eagle. The rifle shiws very little use. No handling marks worth mentioning. It had been fired with some kind of substitute that left a grey, powdery residue that brushed right out. Bore is bright and shiny. Lists new for north of $1300 if you can find one. $950 + Shipping.
