Description:
Original 1917 U.S. Fighting knife with Brass handle. Dispay item for a great example of what was available for our Trench warfare weaponry. This has been cleaned to show how they were issued to our troops. Has a Original steel blade 6 3/8" long double edged With Au-Llon Builders marking Lion laying down inscripyion. Overall length is 11". Handle sports a pointed pommel nut . This is a handful of attention getting power. Very nice display item for the advanced collector. This is not a toy. Must be 18 yrs or older to purchase.(No Sheath available!) Serious inquires please call. P.S. These French Manufactured knivse were the ony type used in the begging of W.W.!. The American types were possibly used shortly before the War ended. Making this model a much more desireable model for the advanced Collector. Most were used and abused.
