Description:
Savage 99 chambered in 300 Savage. Brass counter, Nickel Trimmed butt plate, lever, trigger and rear sight (these parts are not just high polished carbon steel). Manufactured in 1950. The stocks looks to have had something like true oil applied liberally including over the butt plate and some is on the receiver. Nice mirror bore. Smooth fast action. Great hunting rifle. Unique with the Nickel trim.
