Description:
Springfield model 1873 trapdoor rifle in 45-70. Built in 1890,this rifle is in very good original condition. The bore is excellent showing sharp rifling and no rust or pitting. The stock is sound and free of cracks. It does have several minor handling marks that you would expect in a rifle of this age. It still retains the original cleaning rod and the original ladder type rear sight. An excellent example of the trapdoor Springfield that would be fun to shoot. C&R eligible. Price includes shipping. Classified as an antique so it can be shipping direst.
