Description:
1969 Belgium Browning Superposed Lighting O/U shotgun chambered for 3", 20 gauge shells. This example has 26.5" vent rib barrels with ejectors and fixed chokes "Top - MOD" and "Bottom - IMP CYL". The front sight is a white bead in a base at the front of the rib and there is a smaller white mid-bead. The left top barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM". The bottom of the receiver is marked "Lightning / BROWNING" with a bust portrait of John Browning. The receiver has Grade I engraving and a manual top tang safety / barrel selector. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a straight grip, straight comb, and a black rubber PACHMAYR buttpad with a basket weave pattern. Stock measurements "DC - 1 1/2", DH - 2 1/8", neutral cast. Overall this gun rates about 95%. 20 Gauge

Metal Condition: "Minor contact wear at the safety and on the bottom barrel from the sliding of the forend. Also, the bottom edges of the frame shows slight edge wear.
Wood Condition: "About a handful of small scattered dings with black glue dried on the right side of the stock, ""see the last picture"".
Bore Condition: Both bore and bright.
Barrels: 26.5" barrels.
Triggers: Single gold trigger.
Stock Dimensions:

Fore End: Checkered.
