SCARCE JM MARLIN, NORTH HAVEN, CT, MODEL 1894CL (CLASSIC) IN .25-20 CALIBER, #CL251XXX, ONLY MADE 1988-93. This was a non-standard model that featured a 22" round barrel with half magazine, straight stock with shotgun butt plate. They were offered in limited numbers in .218 Bee, .25-20 and .32-20. This example is about new inside and out. It has the factory included hammer extension for scope use. Aside from a small rectangular stain on the bottom of the forend from either a Marlin sticker or an old price tag and one tiny handling mark on the front of the comb (you have to look carefully to see it), this one is new.
