Description:
Winchester Model 21 Duck Custom side-by-side shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. Introduced as a production line gun in 1931 and moved to the Custom Shop in 1960, the Model 21 was one of Winchester's finest efforts with regard to quality, reliability, and strength. Duck Guns were manufactured from 1940 to 1952 and this piece is estimated to have been produced in 1949. Features include 32-inch blued barrels with light scroll engraving at the breach and white mid bead on a ventilated rib. The front bead is missing. The action, trigger guard, break lever, and forearm hardware are very nicely relief floral scroll engraved with an oval panel on each side of a wooded marsh scene with a gold inlaid ducks. Gold inlayed retriever with a duck in its mouth on the grip cap. No accessories. 12 Gauge
