Description:
Fabbrica Armi d'Abbiatico e Salvinelli (FAMARS) Poseidon over/under shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge. Considered among the finest shotguns in the world, FAMARS guns were available on a custom order basis only. Features include 30-inch blued barrels with 3-inch chambers, fixed Cylinder over Improved Cylinder chokes, and ejectors. Rounded box lock action, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are very nicely engraved with fine highly detailed scroll patterns and contrasting darkened backgrounds. Each side of the action has "ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI" inlaid in gold in a banner. The area to the right just forward of the trigger guard is signed by the master engraver's name. The serial number is engraved in a banner on the lower tang, and the matching serial number is marked on the water table, barrel flat and on the forearm hardware. The side of the left barrel near the breech is marked "ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI," and the forearm shoe is inscribed "Poseidon" with fine gold lettering. No accessories. 20 Gauge
