"Serial number 269952. Made in 1905. 44-40 caliber with a 4.75 barrel. This gun is nicely engraved and the initials ""BJ"" are noted on the underside of the barrel. We believe this to be the engraver Bill Johns. The engraving is mostly scroll style also with geometric shapes. This gun has two piece ivory grips that are period. Very attractive Colt Single Action Army!
