Description:
U.S. Model 1903A1 manufactured by Rock Island Arsenal, serial #419,478, putting its manufacture date between 1920-1922. Rifle has been refurbished with a Sedgley 1903 barrel, dated February of 1945, with a fantastic bore and rifling. Bolt is Remington stamped, while the stock is a 1903A3 type-C. The receiver has been fit with a new extractor, and there is no gas vent or hatcher hole. Rebuild was done by Raritan Arsenal in New Jersey. Metal is faded bluing, but is in good shape with some minor scratches, while the wood stock has little blemish and has its original varnish. Chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
