".60 caliber 36.75"" octagon to round barrel with Damascus pattern Chief's Grade Board of Ordnance North West Trade Gun by Sutherlands. Gun has been altered to percussion from its original flintlock configuration, circa War of 1812. Metal is a grey to brown patina with surface oxidation visible, stock is good with scattered dings and mars noted. German silver Chiefs motif thumb plate at this wrist present. Lock plate is marked Sutherlands with Wild Boar rear of the hammer. Dallas Location
