The M&P series is Smith & Wesson‚s flagship duty pistol and has seen extensive use with many law enforcement agencies across America. The polymer frame allows the pistol to be lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant while the more flexible material helps to absorb recoil during firing. The pistol also features a striker action that allows for a consistent trigger pull on each shot along with an accessory rail for installing lights and laser aim devices. The updated M2.0 series offers an updated grip texture and improved trigger in addition to improved internals to create a dependable and reliable pistol for any situation.
This limited edition Backpacker model is chambered in 10mm Auto and features an ambidextrous manual safety along with a custom FDE cerakote finish with a signature claw mark emblem on the slide. The slide comes optic ready with suppressor-height sights and an optic cover that can be removed for Smith & Wesson‚s C.O.R.E. adapter plates. Two 15-round magazines are included.
